I would like to visit my grandson, Jeffrey Paul Oates, who is incarcerated at Bradshaw State Jail. I need to know if he is eligible for a visit from me. His #is 1906293, turned himself in to complete required probation period.
Hi Jeffrey,
We recommend contacting your grandson’s case manager. prisonpath.com is a private web site and is not connected or affiliated with any prison or jail.
I would like to know if the Bradshaw Unit has access to e-comm for inmate commissary?!
I would also like to know if there is a waiting period for new inmates before they can have visitors?
Did I understand correctly that if you send white envelopes to an inmate that I would need to put his name, Tdc# & return address on ea envelope that I send?
Do inmates have access to phones and can they receive mail by e – mail?
Thank you for your help with my many questions in advance.

Hi Lupe, The spend limit does not apply to special items such as typewriters, some clothing items, fans or tennis shoes. These special purchase items are made specifically for an institutional environment. They must be bought directly from the commissary by the offender for the offender’s personal use. The TDCJ has initiated an on-line program (www.texas.gov/eCommDirect) where friends and family may purchase up to $60.00 of certain commissary items every calendar quarter for eligible offenders. The items available for purchase include certain snacks, hygiene products, correspondence supplies and newly packaged items. The amount purchased will not affect the amount that… Read more »

I have a friend in bradshaw that was aprooved for parole after he did changes/lifeskills. Meanwhile i was to call parole office to get him to be able to parole to my home. When i called office they say they have no one by that name with that birth date. I know its correct and you can go on the government website and look his name up under offender search and all the info is there. What do I do? Ive never had to do any of this before.
Try contacting a supervisor at the probation office for assistance.

My boyfriend was transferred to Bradshaw unit 4-8-20 I was told he was being released on 4-15-20 from the Henderson County Jail because of the CoronaVirus. That TDC was not accepting anyone from county jails. He was one of 100 people interviewed and was going to be let go free. No paper, nothing. So according to online records he is in Bradshaw. But the phone number provided by TDC through automated system says that he was elegible for parole in 7-19. And his projected release date 4-20. Now I talked with someone with BBC who tells me that the automated… Read more »
