i have a question my son is coming home in February of this year and i was told that i have to send him the money for the ticket to come home

I do not know from your question whether your son will come home by bus or plane. Most prisons will give an inmate a small amount of money upon release. the amount can range from $25-50 dollars. He should also receive any money he has left in his account, but since commissary prices are so high, the likelihood is that he has no money left in his account. You should call the facility for more information.
Is it possible to send inmates gifts?

You can have books or magazines shipped directly from the seller to the inmate. You could also deposit money
into the inmate’s account for commissary purchases. Please note all deposits are made through J-Pay.
