I fail to see the sense in cancelling one of the 12 Step Meetings to save money. These meetings are a source of information and support to the inmates who want to find out if they have an addiction to drugs and alcohol and an ongoing support and forum for those who are serious about their recovery. I would think that anything that may have even the smallest effect on obtaining/maintaining sobriety in the prison would have a high priority.
