Moriah Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility is a minimum security New York State prison, located in Mineville, Town of Moriah, Essex County, New York, in a remote part of the Adirondack Mountains. The facility established in former mine buildings is home to SHOCK and intensive ASAT programs.

I HAVE A SON THAT WILL BE GRADUATING IN AUGUST 15TH 2013 .I AM COMING FROM INDIANA AND HAVE 4 FAMILY MEMBERS WITH ME .I SEE WHERE ONLY 3 IS SUPPOSED TO ATTEND. IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN GET PERMISSION FOR THE 4TH PERSON TO ATTEND?

I would recommend contacting the prison administration for special permission. If you do not make any headway, contact the prison chaplain for assistance.
i am aware that visitation is every other sunday but i need to no what sundays you do have visitation and what sundays you dont so my question is… are there visits this sunday (6-23-13)???

my son is being released on nov.10th. I am not able to attend the ceremony or be there to bring him home. will he be set up to take a bus home?

He should be given sufficient funds for a bus. We recommend that you contact directly the prison to confirm release logistics.
