Why is it so hard to get visits on the vpass, and calling is even harder and with rude people who answer. I visit other prisons before, and never had it so difficult, any suggestions?
I have tried that main number and all it does is ring and ring and ring and no one answers it. Is there another number i can call to reach somebody. Is there anyone there to answer the phone on the weekends as i have been trying for two days with no response at all. Thanks, Yvonne
Hi Yvonne,
I just called the main number and received a response immediately. Call 845-831-4800. The recording will state that if you do not know your party’s extension, then press 0. At that point, you have a live operator.

What type of hygiene product can I send through the mail, and are there restrictions. I would like to send books as well is this allowed?
Hi,
Click the link to the website for Fishkill for additional information. You can usually send books, but the books have to come directly from the publisher or from a merchant such as Amazon. You can purchase used books online from Barnes and Noble and Amazon for $5-6 each which includes shipping. The books are in good condition and you can save quite money.

I had come to see my son, George on the 5th of March, 2016. Upon arrival I had gone to the registration area, where I was told verbatim ” He must be wiggin’ out” so you can’t see him. I was so distraught, beyond! I was given a number with an extension to call on Monday the 7th of March, 2016. Where as the gentleman was very sarcastic and would not provide me any information. I understand there are HIPAA concerns. However this is my only child. My son is still in the custody of Green County, I was asked… Read more »
