I would like to obtain a a copy of any documentation related to the arrest and incarceration of Jenaro Ballejos, born during the period of 1890 and 1896. He was born in New Mexico, United States. He is my grandfather. I understand that he was incarcerated in the Santa Fe New Mexico Penitentiary sometime between 1916 and 1930. Grandfather was of Mexican or Apache Indian or both decent. For genealogical purposes, our family would like to know whether this story is of truth or fable. Let me know how do I go about obtaining this information. Thank you very much.
Hi Olivia,
prisonpath.com is not connected or affiliated with any prison or jail. We would not have access to such information. We recommend contacting the prison directly or a local historian in New Mexico.
