Menard Reception and Classification Center

Menard Reception and Classification Center is located in Randolph County and is on the grounds of Menard Correctional Center. Offenders that are newly admitted into IDOC shall be placed into reception status (this includes parole violators and ATC violators that are returned to IDOC). All offenders in reception status will be housed in the designated Reception and Classification unit. Reception status is terminated once the offender is transferred to an assigned correctional facility.
