Please note the following information about the visitation application at the South Florida Reception Center:
The inmate you wish to visit must send you an application. An application must be completed by all visitors 12 years of age or older. The application form consists of two parts: Form numbers DC6-111A and DC6-111B. You complete and submit the DC6-111A. The DC6-111B is a visitor information summary which should be reviewed and retained by the visitor.

The visitation process can be very frustrating. We recommend contacting directly the facility for referral concerning your application.
How long am i allowed to visit with an imate on visitation day? Can I visit the inmate on both Saturday and Sunday?

Hi Ashley I am currently still waiting for my number to be approved so my husband can call me. Can you please tell me how long it took for you. Its been a week since i sent in my phone bill and i havent recieved a call yet.

What can you put in the mail to the inmates? How much paper,? Stamps? Cards? Etc. my son is in confinement and I would like to write him and send him some stuff.
Hi Heather, Items Allowed Through Routine Mail Inmates will be permitted to receive only the following types of materials through routine mail: Written correspondence (no limit as to number of pages). Correspondence may be written on greeting cards, but cards containing electronic or other non-paper parts, cards which are constructed in such a way as to permit concealment of contraband, or which are larger than 8″x10″ will not be permitted. We would recommend contacting the facility chaplain for help, since you have not
heard back at all from your son. Depending on the facility, he may not yet have access
to any communications.
when do u get stuff done so we can atleast know that our child is alright? I just need to know where he is going and if hehe ok.
I have called everyday and get nothing. Why do u continue to punish we the parents. don’t u understand our heart is breaking. Please just want to make sure he is not sick.

try contacting the prison Chaplain.
Trying to submit a visit for Saturday already been approve, but still won’t let me submit a visit request.
