The Everglades Correctional Institution is a Level 5 security prison facility for adult males in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, in the state of Florida, near Miami. Originally planned as a mental health facility, it was converted to a major Correctional institution in 1995.

Is there a specific day Saturday or Sunday to visit inmates and if so what is current status for Frederick Richardson?
Hi Lisa, Please note the following information about visitation. 2. What are the registration and visiting times? Regular visiting is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (8:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time). Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. (7:15 a.m. CST) on both days. Visitors will not be processed after 2:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. CST) unless authorized by the duty warden.
