Easterling Correctional Facility opened in March 1990 and is located on 200 acres on Alabama Highway 10 East in Clio, Alabama. Easterling provides drug treatment counseling to inmates. Vocational and educational programs for inmates are offered through Wallace Community College. Inmates have opportunities to learn trades such as drafting, industrial electricity, cabinet making, plumbing, and brick masonry.

Can I send a book to an inmate? if yes, how do I send it?

Almost all prisons require books to be shipped from directly from the vendors such as Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

I see here that to visit I would have to be fingerprinted. Can you elaborate on this? If I have any kind of record will a visit be denied?

Please note the following information from the prison’s regulations re: your visitation question:
Ex-felons, parolees and probationers may be considered after two (2) years from the date of release. a. The ex-felon shall be an immediate family member. b. Parolees and probationers must have written approval from their Parole/Probation Officer.
