Columbiana County Jail

The Columbiana County Jail - GEO is a medium-security detention center located at 8473 County Home Rd Lisbon, OH which is operated locally by the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Columbiana County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Lisbon Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up. This jail is managed and controlled by private prison company GEO, under contract to the commissioners of Columbiana County. No inmate has the right to assign work to other inmates or to assume control and supervision over them. Under no circumstances will inmates administer any discipline. Discipline will only be administered by the staff of the facility. Inmate courts and all other illegal inmate organizations are forbidden.
