HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BAIL SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN ARRESTED? Once a determination of bail has been obtained for an arrestee, the person bailing the arrestee will be advised to have the appropriate cash and respond to the police station. Upon your arrival at the police station, you will be asked if you have the appropriate cash and the Detention Specialist will be notified. The Bail Commissioners do not work for the Nashua Police Department; they work for the Court. You will be told that the Bail Commissioner on duty will be paged and to have a seat. The Records Division cannot accept any money for bailing an arrestee.
