The Hancock County Public Safety Complex (HCPSC) opened in March, 2012 which is home to the Hancock County Justice Court, Mississippi Department of Parole and Probation, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and its Adult Sheriff. The Hancock County Adult Sheriff (HCADC) has the capability to house three hundred and three (303) inmates. The HCADC staff consist of Warden Brandon Zeringue; Deputy Warden Amanda Parker; Lieutenant Andrew Johnson; four ( 4) Administrative Assistants; thirty-three (33) Corrections Officers; one (1) Maintenance Director and one (1 ) Kitchen Manager. Supplementing the staff are two (2) Program Facilitators oversee eighty (80) inmates participating in the Mississippi Department of Corrections Long Term Alcohol and Drug Program. Inmate religious programs are directed by the Good News Jail/Prison Ministries and Chaplin Joe Collins.
