The Jail facility on Walnut Street moved to the new Allegan County Sheriff's Office & Corrections Center in October 2014. As of 2015, our rated jail capacity is 225 beds, but our average daily population is 156. We have 31 Corrections Deputies, 6 Corrections Sergeants, and 1 Captain.
