How do I post bail? The bail is set by a court order. Most bails are a cash sum and only cash will be accepted. If bail is a surety, that will also be accepted. However, you are required to post a surety bond accompanied with a deed. Bail can be posted at TBRJ in the reception area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A correctional officer will assist you by verifying required paperwork and the proper amount of bail. Please be patient with the process, particularly during periods of conflicting jail activities. A $60.00 charge will be added for the bail commissioner’s fee and the commissioner will be called once you have counted out the cash for the booking officer at the window.
