Plaquemines Parish Detention Center

The Corrections Division is overseen by Warden Denise Narcisse, who has been with the Sheriff's Office since 1994. She manages the 800+ bed Correctional Center in Davant, La. The Sheriff's Office Correctional Center is a new 800+ bed facility located in Davant, La. and opened on Feb. 11, 2015. It is was built over 18ft in the air and is inside the federal hurricane protection levee system for this area of the parish.
