Boise County Jail

The Boise County Jail is situated in Idaho City, Idaho. The Boise County Jail is under the operation of Boise County Sheriff’s Office. The Boise County Jail is a medium-security facility. The facility is home to adult female and adult male inmates. This facility does not house any juveniles. Juveniles are housed in another facility in the county. The Boise County Jail houses inmates who have already been sentenced, inmates who are waiting for their trial to start, inmates going through their trial, and inmates who are waiting to be sentenced. Majority of inmates in the Boise County Jail are currently going through the judicial system. Only a handful of inmates have already been sentenced. Out of the inmates who have been sentenced, they only typically carry a 2 year or less sentence.
