SENDING A MAIL/CARE PACKAGE Send letters and cards directly to the inmate. The inmate will be located in one of two places, and you can find that out here. Once you know where the inmate is located, send it to the address where they are, which is either: Vance County Jail Central Booking 516 Breckenridge Street, Henderson, NC, 27536 Make sure that your letter includes the inmate's name & booking number. Also, you must include your name and return address on the letter or it will not be delivered. While you cannot send paperback books, magazines or newspapers, you can make arrangements for these to be sent and mailed directly from the publisher to the inmate. Each inmate at the Vance County Jail can possess up to two books and magazines at one time.
