What are the guidelines for visiting an inmate? Effective December 4, 2017, ALL public window visitation at the Maleng Regional Justice Center (MRJC in Kent) must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Please click here to schedule your visitation at the MRJC. Visiting times at KCCF (Seattle) are determined by the inmate's location. Inmate information: https://js.kingcounty.gov/dajd/jils/ If visitors do not check in with jail reception fifteen (15) minutes prior to their scheduled visit, their visit may be canceled. Due to high volumes, scheduled times may be cut short. Out of town visitors traveling from outside a 50 mile radius MAY qualify for a Special Visit. It is the responsibility of the detainee to notify visitors of any changes to their visiting schedule. Valid identification is required for visiting: Washington State or other state issued Driver's License or ID card Native American Tribal Photo ID Canadian Driver's License or ID card U.S. Armed Forces ID card U.S. or Foreign Government Passport Resident Alien/Green Card Visitors under the age of eighteen (18) must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times. Any questions or concerns shall be addressed by the duty sergeant. Prohibited items: At the MRJC ONLY - personal belongings such as purses, diaper bags, strollers, etc. are not allowed Cell phones Cameras Recording devices Knives Pepper spray or mace Firearm Food cans or bottles Tools Dress code: No miniskirts or similar attire. No low-cut or revealing necklines. No bare midriff. Shoes required.
