Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sheriff's Office has taken measures to minimize contact with the public and help ensure social distancing. As of March 17, we have halted fingerprint services for the public until the situation is over. This does not include mandatory fingerprinting when a person is arrested, nor does it mean that we will not be enforcing the laws and arresting criminals. We will also be halting the release of property from evidence. While we regret the need for these steps, we feel that it is important to limit contact. By halting these non-essential services, we hope to minimize exposure for our employees and citizens, alike.
