Ottawa County Minimum Security Jail

The Minimum Security Jail is a 48 bed dormitory style facility. Even though the court might say that they will make it available, the jail makes final determination of who can be housed there. If an offender qualifies for the Minimum Security jail then inmates are able to bring in certain things with you. Inmates are allowed to bring in $100 cash at the initial booking. If you bring your own bible in you may take it with you when you are released. If you get work release then you may bring your work clothes with you but you only have a small locker so you can not fit a lot of items in there. Work release and House Arrest is set up through probation before coming to jail.
