Release on Bond: An inmates bond may have been set before or after they were processed into the jail. The amount of bond is determined by either the arresting officer or a Judge of the court. Inmate bond is not set by, nor can it be changed by, any officer of the jail. In cases where inmates are returned to jail for probation violations/revocations, failure to appear or writs of arrest, there is a chance that no bond will be set. After a hearing in front of the Judge, you may have a bond set.
