Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) January 14, 2015

Online prison database and resource, Prisonpath.com, has relaunched with a more user-friendly interface and a newly launched prison consultant service. Over the past two years PrisonPath has grown steadily as the go-to resource for the families of inmates and first time nonviolent offenders. It has always provided crucial information about county, state and federal prisons and jails. However, as PrisonPath’s followers have grown, the site has also evolved into a leading news resource on hot-button controversies pertaining to prison issues throughout the United States. The founder, Bradley Schwartz, receives hundreds of questions monthly and personally answers each one.

Bradley Schwartz, at the age of 62 was sentenced to 10 years, 5 suspended and ultimately served 15 months in the Maryland state prison system as a first time, non-violent offender. Prior to being convicted, Mr. Schwartz also worked as a criminal attorney for over 30 years. Based upon his unique point of view on both sides of the prison fence, he created PrisonPath to help inmate’s families and first time nonviolent offenders face incarceration.

“The information and the articles we provide would have given my family some peace of mind during a very hard time in their lives,” says Bradley Schwartz, founder of PrisonPath. “After answering so many questions for scared families and first time offenders facing prison time, it made sense to make myself available for a more in depth conversation.” Mr. Schwartz now accepts prison consultations for future inmates and the families of inmates.

Prisonpath.com has devoted many of its articles to the major problems facing our prisons and jails; correctional violence, dangerously overcrowded prisons and jails, mental health abuse, employment discrimination, and other social issues confronting the prison system. Most recently, PrisonPath has covered such heated topics of correctional officers and police officers brutality, celebrity incarcerations such as Teresa Guidice and disenfranchised voting rights.

PrisonPath has gained an avid following and is considered the go-to resource on prison politics and news. It is followed on social media by Piper Kerman (Orange is the New Black), The Fortune Society, Solitary Watch, Political Activists, Former Governors., and numerous other individuals and organizations who are concerned about the state of our prisons and jails.
