Hi Angelo, Please note the following information about visitation, but you should always call the facility to confirm no changes. For inmates assigned to general population, all institutions allow visiting on Saturday, Sunday and State holidays. To reduce crowding in the visiting room, many institutions alternate days inmates may visit based on the alphabet or inmate I.D. number. Be sure to check with the institution or with the offender you plan to visit to determine which day he/she may visit. Inmates are permitted a minimum of one hour per visiting day with visitors, although the length of visits may be… Read more »

Hi Felicia, Beginning December 1, 2013, new visitors applying to visit facilities after January 1, 2014, will be required to submit visitation applications online. Paper applications for first time visitors will be allowed for those who plan to visit during the upcoming Thanksgiving to Christmas holidays. Visitors may only be approved to visit multiple offenders if the offenders are immediate family members. Visitors will be limited to visiting only… Read more »
Hi Felicia, My son was transferred from another prison on Friday 2 days after Christmas December 27,2019. He wasn’t able to know his exact place of transfer. But we do know that he went to a lesser secure prison. I missed a call from him early this morning Sunday December 29, 2019. On the voicemail message it said, You have a call from inmate at State Farm Correctional Center. Felicia, I’m hoping that’s the prison in Chesapeake, VA. Because it is so near to his family and we haven’t seen my son in over six years. The location where he… Read more »
