Hi, my fiancée just got transferred from Montgomery County to Gist. How do I write him, also, how do I accept /receive his calls, and do commissary? And how do you guys do visitation? How do I put money on my postpaid cell phone and home phone? Are inmates allowed to receive books or anything?

My son just got moved to gist unit how long before anyone can visit I was told 30 to 45 days and putting money on there books might take a week he just got there on the 10th so I know he’s going to miss a visit but we wrote him already to let him know thanks any feedback would be nice.

Do I need a Texas i.d to visit an inmate? I wanna take my 4 month old daughter to visit my cousin also. Do I need to have my daughter on the visitation list also?

You need a photo id from any state or the federal government. Regarding your 4 month old daughter, we recommend that you call the facility directly for the answer.
