Seems like the visitors are offered safety and time for visitation when the idea of prison to me
is time away from society / family for there safety as well as the general public ….They committed the crime & I feel the prisoners at times live better then I do with all the conveniences of home that they did not earn …….

Inmates hardly have conveniences. The cells are the size of a closet and are often in disrepair. The medical care ismore harmful than helpful. You always have the possibility of harm from other inmates. Scarcely the benefits of home.

I am coming from colorado to visit. Do i take cash into the visit or coins? Can someone please help as i am new at this. I want this visit to go smoothly.

You can bring a small amount of cash or coins into the visitation room for vending machines only. Only visitors can use vending machines. We recommend having the cash or coins in a small plastic bag.You should have no more than $10.00–12.00.
