Central Reception and Assignment Facility (CRAF) serves as a central processing unit for all adult males sentenced to the New Jersey Department of Corrections. The facility is responsible for providing intake examinations as well as medical, dental, educational and psychological evaluations before objectively classifying all state-sentenced inmates. The Jones Farm Minimum Security Unit is a satellite work camp of CRAF, housing inmates serving nonviolent, short-term sentences.

when sending the inmate a postal money order, do i write it out to them with their sbi# or to something else?

My husband was transferred to CRAF. The only information I received was that his max date is for 658 days. Does that mean that he will serve his time there or in a halfway house because it’s less than 2 years?
