The Suwannee Correctional Institution is a Level 6 security prison facility for adult males at Live Oak, Florida, 2 miles west of Wellborn. The camp was established in 2009. The total staff is 724 and it has a capacity of 1,505 prisoners. There has been an FBI investigation after the death of a prisoner in 2014.

I dislike this prison there’s never enough officers so inmates can call home. And let’s not talk about yall Raggly ass phone that go in and out. They give the inmates 1 phone call now. My husband was been supposed to move from this prison. He did his time there he got his papers to move out of close population back to open. But for yall to say it’s no more beds. And now he has to wait all the way until April. But it’s OK I will be calling Tallahassee in the morning.
