The Desoto Annex is a state prison located in Arcadia, Desoto County, Florida, owned and operated by the Florida Department of Corrections. It houses adult males. This facility has a mix of security levels, including minimum, medium, and close, and houses adult male offenders. Desoto Annex first opened in 1996 as an extension to the main Desoto facility, which has since closed. The Annex holds a maximum of 1453 prisoners.

We recognize the importance of the continuation of family relationships during incarceration. Visitor applications will not be distributed at the reception centers. Inmates will be given up to fifteen copies once they reach their permanent location. My Son was transferred there how do I get the form to complete to visit with him and can he purchase clothes through the facility or I have to buy from some place else

Hello, my son was recently transferred to Desoto Annex from a private facility in Florida. Would I have to reapply for visitation or does the visitation transfer as well?
